Have you ever struggled to find the perfect gift for a loved one, only to be met with high prices and generic ideas? Video games, sports equipment, and electronics can really put a dent in your budget. At the same time, though, you want any gift you give to be classy, elegant, and impressive! This can raise quite a conundrum, especially if you don’t have a lot of money to spend.

If you’ve ever found yourself in this position, then consider another option—sending a gift basket. Gift baskets come in a wide range of themes and with a lot of different options, and can also meet a variety of budgets! A nicely packaged basket, chock full of goodies, doesn’t have to be expensive. But even if it didn’t cost you a fortune, it can certainly still look as though it did! You don’t have to break the bank to send the perfect gift.

With a gift basket, the sky is the limit—it’s up to you what goes into the basket. With some consideration towards your loved one’s personality, hobbies and likes, you can select a basket full of things that will really make them happy. Edibles like candy, wine or fruit are all possibilities, as are items like stuffed animals, mugs, candles, or whatever else you can think of! And to top it all off, it comes in a useful basket, making it an all-around great gift! So, next time you start to get worried about how you’re going to show your loved one that you really care, without emptying your wallet, consider a gift basket!

Musical Gift Baskets for Birthday Parties

July 21st, 2010

Birthdays give immense joy to people, especially the young ones. The balloons, the visitors, the cake, the decorations and the gifts are all source of joy for them. They will be eagerly waiting the party hour when they would share their happiness with all the others. Making different type of gift baskets would attract them as well as the visitors and would cheer up the whole atmosphere. One such creative idea is musical gift baskets.

You may make the music chime when one touches the basket. There are some small music recorded chips available in the market. You may get them with ‘Happy Birthday Song’. First you should pack the gift basket with the gift items you have purchased for them. You may gift them a collection of hankies, or toys, or watch sets or perfumes or what ever you may prefer. Then you should make the music work.

You may fix the chip in the handle of the basket so that if one holds them by hand, it chimes the sweet song. If you have no time to look out for musical chips, then you may buy a musical greeting card which is easily available and stick them to the base of the basket. Now you have to place the basket in another tray and present them. If they take the gift basket, then the card at the bottom opens to sing the song. Don’t forget such little things add color and vigor to our life.

Sinfully Sweet Kosher Gift Baskets

April 20th, 2010

When it comes to giving gifts to someone who is strictly kosher most people are at a loss because they don’t realize what kosher means. Basically it just means that everything eaten must be pure and organic. Knowing this will make shopping for them so much easier for everyone involved.

Some examples of great gifts to give are delicious sweet kosher gift baskets. You can fill them with organically made macaroons, chocolate cupcakes or even candied nuts. You could include a great bottle of desert wine that way the sweet treats can be enjoyed to the fullest.  Another option is to give a basket filled with godiva chocolates, delicious chocolate milk mix and even great pancake mixes.

It doesn’t matter which of these options you choose the person receiving this gift is sure to be thankful to you and will enjoy it very much. Now when you go shopping at least you will have some idea of what you can and can’t get for someone who eats kosher. This is sure to be a very pleasant experience now for you the shopper and especially for the recipient of the basket.

Create A Housewarming Basket for The Recent College Grad

February 12th, 2010

One of the things most college graduates really look forward to at the end of school is the chance to live on their own, far away from the noise and overcrowded dorm experience they’ve had for the last four years.  A thoughtful housewarming gift frequently makes a smashing graduation gift as well!

Most dorm-dwellers can’t cook at all in their rooms, so a kitchen-tool themed gift basket would be a great start to any graduate’s first apartment.  Look for tools that do double-duty or are easy to use for the first-time chef.  A great chef’s knife, a set of measuring cups, and some Pyrex storage are multi-functional and always highly appreciated.  For an extra touch, use a Crock-pot as the basket – it’s a lifesaver for new cooks – and tuck in a couple of your favorite recipes.  Finish off your basket with cheery dishtowels in a bright vivid color, for extra visual appeal.

Another item that’s strictly verboten for most dorm denizens is a pet.  If you know your grad is going to adopt a dog or cat even before the ink’s dry on their diploma, put together an adoption kit for their furry friend.  You can include pet treats, toys, a collar and a copy of either The Idiot’s Guide to Cats or Dogs for Dummies, whichever is appropriate.  Put it in a pet bed, and tie the whole thing together with a leash for additional cuteness.

Male gift baskets for Valentines day or 21st birthday gifts

December 29th, 2009

Gift baskets for 21st birthday gifts or for Valentines day, http://www.thebasketspot.com/valentines-day-c-18.html, are good for females, but they are also great for males.  Instead of giving a male recipient the usual birthday choices for young male adults, try something different with a birthday gift basket.  The best fact about these baskets is that they are filled with a variety of items that a recipient will love.  A gift basket can be bought already assembled.  If you want more control over what is included in a basket, it is easy to create one yourself.

Male birthday baskets for Valentines Day can follow a theme.  A sport is always a great theme for a male birthday.  If the recipient loves football, the basket could be filled with a t-shirt of his favorite football team.  Add additional fun times to complete the basket such as packets of popcorn.  Since the recipient is of legal drinking age, a couple of bottles of premium beer can complete the basket.  Wrap the basket in a fun selection of wrapping paper and adorn with a large colorful bow.  Including a card with a gift basket is always appropriate and can be placed inside the basket or attached near the location of the bow.

Gift Baskets: Add a touch of class to your gifts!

November 18th, 2009

Gift Baskets have been in existence since centuries. Ever since the hunter/gatherer class put their collected edible items for the day on display within weaved baskets, gift baskets by their very nature have represented something being passed from one person to others from the heart.

Gift Baskets are especially useful for the expression of goodwill amongst company upper management. A well decorated gift basket containing high quality edible items, a bouquet of flowers or other such objects is seen as classy and can be used in almost any executive or business situation whereas a regular singular gift would be seen as bad form or practice in such a scenario.

While choosing the contents of a gift basket it is important to consider the personality and demeanour of the person being offered the gift. Are they quiet and do they keep to themselves? Are they loud and upfront? All these things can give you little clues as to the personal preferences of each individual person. If not, it is best to stick with neutral objects, such as flowers and so on.

Gift Baskets need not be used only at such events however. They are often given from one to another during wedding ceremonies, religious events, religious holidays such as Christmas, Easter etc. A gift basket is a truly versatile form of expressing emotions through simple, inexpensive objects.

How about a basket of fresh fruit and vegetables in the spring? Let succulent strawberries and oranges usher in the warmth of the sun and banish the cold winter away. Or how about a basket of coffees and teas for the summer? Have your friends and neighbors over for snacks and drinks on those warm summer days when iced teas and coffees shared with friends strengthen bonds. Consider, also, a basket of meats and cheeses for the fall. As the days get cooler, build an air of coziness with succulent snacks by a roaring fireside. For the winter, how about a basket of chocolates? Celebrate the holiday season with imported confections from Switzerland and Germany to delight anyone at a Christmas celebration.

Truly, there is a gift basket for all seasons! Think of that special someone in your life, and give them the gift that says you know what they like. From your friend to your spouse, a seasonal food basket is sure to be the gift that says “I care.” Share a food basket with the one you love, and relish in the fact that your gift will be unique and thoughtful. Jonas Clark Ministries will be hosting a food drive for Christmas and also giving away lots of gifts.

December 16th, 2008

This season of joy and gift giving, we are thinking of our family, friends, colleagues and relatives and loved ones. But we should also think of other people we do not know who needs our love and concern, like street people, orphaned or abandoned children, prisoners or even stray dogs or cats!

The Jonas Clark Ministries will be hosting a food drive for Christmas and also giving away lots of gifts. This will be the time that the real spirit of Christmas is felt, that is by giving a part of your time and giving some people gifts. The food drive will benefit many if people will participate. All in the spirit of love, we act as givers and this will benefit not only other peoples heart but our own spirit as well.

Have fun and enjoy the season. Give various gift baskets, participate in food drives, and be spontaneous. Nothing beats this season if people experience the true joy of gift giving. From birthday parties and weddings to retirement sendoffs and trendy holiday soirees, people wanted to give a memorable gift. What more is best than by giving a part of your time and dedication? Give something unique and personal like great recipe books in the food drive, or cook a great meal for the group as your gift. It is truly in your heart that you will find the true joy of gift giving.
